absolute crap pre season, lose the opening game of the season, 2 decent strikers who know where the net is, aside from city a decent run of games both home and away.

for once in a long long while im genuinely very excited

Short of the joy of picking up any silverware, a mid-week European game under the lights at the Boleyn is something EVERY West Ham fan should experience.

Not sure how all-seating will dampen the atmosphere, but the buzz on those nights was something else.
